Early Bird Review & Scholarship – Deadline Tuesday, February 16, 2010

File your application by February 16 and receive an early review of your application for errors and receive a chance to win a $500 Early Bird Scholarship for the 2010-11 academic year!

After February 16, check your e-Student Profile for verification that your application was received by OSAC. If the status is “Valid eApp Accepted”, congratulations! If it reads “Review Pending”, check back until you receive the “Valid eApp Accepted” message. If it reads “eApp Problem”, correct the problem and submit by the deadline in the message.

Error free applications are entered into a drawing for a $500 Early Bird scholarship.

All applications must be received at OSAC by the final deadline of March 1, 2010. See below for details. Applications received after February 16, but before March 1 will not have benefit of an early review.

eApp users: To qualify for the Early Bird review and the scholarship drawing, you must submit your complete eApp (which must include your Activities Chart, required four Short Personal Statements, and uploaded transcripts and other required information, unless otherwise stated by a specific scholarship) by midnight, Tuesday, February 16.
Paper applicants: you can mail or hand-deliver your complete application packet (which must include your signed application, Activities Chart, required four Personal Statements, transcripts, and other required information, unless otherwise stated by a specific scholarship) to the OSAC office in Eugene during business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you want verification that OSAC received your application packet, use a delivery service that gives you a return receipt.

In some cases, OSAC may need to communicate with you, so be sure that your spam filter will accept a message from OSAC from the following address: gallagher_c@osac.state.or.us. The subject line will clearly indicate that it is regarding your 2010-11 OSAC Scholarship Application.
