Grants

There are a few different types of grants, all of which are determined by financial need. None of these grants have to be repaid.

In order to determine your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and eligibility for these programs, you must fill out the FAFSA.

Oregon Opportunity Grant

  • Oregon resident undergraduates only
  • Must attend eligible Oregon college or university
  • Average award amount of $1200

Federal Pell Grant

  • Undergraduates only
  • Must have EFC of $3600 or less
  • Average award amount is $1,460

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

  • Undergraduates only
  • Maximum award of $4,000
  • Must demonstrate exceptional financial need

Federal Work-Study

  • Undergraduates and graduates are eligible
  • Provides both on- and off-campus jobs
  • Amount earned depends on financial need
