Classes for College Credit

Advanced Placement (AP) courses
AP courses are college-level courses you can take during high school to prepare for college. When you score high enough on the AP exams, you can receive college credit - and that may save time and money by giving you college credit without having to take (and pay for) a course! Check with your teachers, guidance counselor, or principal to find out if your high school offers AP courses.

Tech-Prep courses
If you want to pursue a technical program at a community, technical, or junior college, you can take technical courses in high school in addition to the core courses. Find out the best classes to take during high school from your school or from a community, technical, or junior college.
